DO NOT USE!!Long story short i called 2 weeks ahead of my move date and set a time with them that i was told they would be there. i told them 3 pm of that move day, on the day of at 4pm that day I HAD TO call them for them to tell me that they are being delayed because of a move they started at 8 am that same day. I was told they could still come out around 6-7. 5pm came and i called to check on the status and i get a voicemail. at 5:20 pm i get a text from a WORKER saying if that they are still stuck at the same move they started at 8am and if i would be willing to reschedule, they mentioned getting another crew but that didn’t work out. mind you i have to turn in the keys that same day and go to work the next morning. after requesting for the owner to reach out to me i received a phone call from a very unprofessional person claiming to be the owner. he didn’t not care to hear out my frustration as me and my family sit with all of our stuff waiting on his arrival he was very disrespectful and cared little of my frustration DO NOT USE THESE GUYS!!! i have imessages to provide proof of this whole ordeal instead i used EVERYSTEP OF THE WAY movers he came in at last minute notice and took care of my move

Comment: I submitted a request for a quote through the website and was able to book a piano move with only a few days notice. The piano was located on a second floor room with a narrow staircase. The movers called before arriving, were friendly and professional, and had the piano downstairs and on the truck in under ten minutes! This was even with a few unexpected challenges with tight spaces and furniture that needed to be moved out of the way. I was very impressed with their friendliness, efficiency, and professionalism. This company is my first call when Im ready to plan my next home move! Very highly recommend!

Comment: I highly recommend Capital Movers. We found them after someone left a card at our door. They were professional and all of our items were carefully placed and in tact. Stay away from a copy cat company named “Capitol Movers” with an “o” ran by a guy named Gustavo. That guy is sketchy and wanted a deposit before I moved. I found the real Capital Movers online and lo and behold turns out it would have been a scam!! My suspicion is this guy who formed “Capitol Movers” is trying to profit off of Capital Movers’ good name and reputation.Anyways, I wanted to leave a review warning people to stay far away from Capitol Movers with the “o”. And I had a great experience with the real deal - Capital Movers. Jason is the owner and was very courteous, professional and the service affordable. His moving staff is top notch.

Comment: Capital Movers helped me with a move from Austin to Round Rock on July 24. They were very professional, efficient, and communicative with me during the entire move. They wrapped every piece of my furniture in shrink wrap, blankets, or both to keep it protected and they moved everything very quickly (even with a long walk to the loading dock on the loading end). I had previously moved all of my smaller items myself, so I only had them move eight pieces of large furniture. The entire move, with a 30-minute drive, took about 2 hours and 15 minutes. I would highly recommend Capital Movers for anyone in the Austin or Round Rock area. Their prices are very competitive and the service is excellent.

Bonus points.They were about 20-30min late from the start time, but called as soon as they were in route. I didnt worry too much on the time thing, as i was doing some last minute packing.They came in ready to work, moved fast, and efficient, and were all professional and courteous. They took care to make sure not to damage my furniture and other items in the process.Will use, and recommend these guys in the future. Whole move done in around 2 hours. Bonus points also for offering to reassemble a desk I had in pieces for moving purposes.I think I recall the names correctly; Doninique, Charles, Mike...Thanks alot guys, you saved my back. I cant move like I used to.

Today’s move was to get my daughter’s stuff out of her apartment near UT and have it moved into our garage in Northwest Austin. As usual, I got a friendly confirmation call a couple of days in advance to make sure we were still a go. This morning, I got a call when the guys were about 25 minutes away. They arrived promptly, parked their truck conscientiously so neighbors wouldn’t be disrupted, greeted me warmly, and started working immediately.These guys know their stuff. They handle delicate items with finesse and work together well when carrying heavy furniture. I have not experienced any scratches, breaks, or furniture damage during any of my moves. At our destination, they unloaded and stacked everything together very carefully (that is, in an organized way), making it easy to get to later. Yay!Dominique, Joe, and Johnny completed today’s move without a hitch. Dominique and Joe have actually done some of the other moves for me, so it’s nice to see the same guys show up. Nice guys all around. Two thumbs up.

Comment: Honestly, don’t bother calling anyone else !!! We were looking for someone to just help move the furniture from one apartment to the next in the same complex. We called around to literally everyone in the area but most companies didn’t pick up, didn’t return my calls or were insanely expensive. Jason was amazing from the minute he answered the phone. SUPER helpful , knowledgeable, and was so very nice even when I had a million questions. He reassured me over and over they could handle it no problem. When Mike and Cha-Cha showed up they had realized they were in for more than they bargained for but let me tell YOU- THEY WERE OUTSTANDING!! These two HUSTLED for 2 hours straight in the Texas heat. Not only did they have to come down an entire flight with all the furniture but then back up again with it all at the new place, all while going through impossible turns. No matter how big the furniture or how heavy, they handled it amazingly. They honestly were so great and held great conversation and were so funny, it was like having friends help us move and not strangers. We seriously can NOT thank you all enough for making this move simple, painless ( at least for us ) and easy !! We have recommended you already and will continue to do so and definitely will use y’all again ( just hopefully not in the super near future !)

I moved and needed movers that could unpack my tractor trailer of all my household items into my new house. I think I got the best movers possible calling Capital. I called them and they had movers at my New address the next morning. They had 2 guys Joe and Keith come to move my items and I was pleasantly surprised with these 2 movers. They were respectful to me and with my items. They moved an 800 pound safe like it was light and put it exactly where i wanted without scratching or damaging anything. These guys were on time, actually 10 minutes early and were very respectful and professional. I highly recommend giving Capital a call with anything you need moved. Joe and Keith were the best I have ever seen and Ive used several companies over the years. Do yourself a favor and call Capital if you want your stuff moved. I cant say enough about Joe and Keith. They are true professionals.

Called Jason at Capital Movers this morning to ask if they would take on a “small” job that was far too big for my husband and I....relocating our HEAVY reclining sofa upstairs. I sent him photos of the furniture and steps. Within a few hours, he sent Alexis and Clive over and they moved the massive piece quickly and without incident.
