This is my first time with Power Movers - and my experience with these guys gave a great face to Power Movers and I’ll be using Power Movers going forward! Gary was a primary contact and he communicated well at every stage including expected arrival time, actual arrival time at original home, expected arrival at new home, actual arrival at new home, etc. His crew was also phenomenal. They worked at lighting speed but at the same time were careful to wrap and protect all of our things. All the while they did this is in the most polite and accommodating manner always asking if I was happy with the work or if I wanted something different. They reassembled everything at the new house and then asked if we wanted anything else moved around or repositioned. We had one uh-oh where the couch was wrapped well and got dirty. They noticed it before I did and offered to either have it cleaned or deduct the price of cleaning from the move. I was very pleased the entire team (Gary, Lupe, George, Chase and Alfredo) and we will definitely use them again for our next move.Edit: They also were able to move a Peleton treadmill for us which I was very concerned about due to the weight (that thing is a beast). Several items such as a 10-foot antique mirror and a circa 1830s coal-burning fireplace facade were included in the move as well as many other antiques. We were very impressed with the service and care we received as well as the short time it took to complete the move. Because of the efficiency of the move, the price was quite reasonable for the services performed. Not only were the services performed in a professional manner, but we were impressed with the companys web interface, which allowed us to pre-plan our move entirely online. They dont normally do long distance moves, but I was able to work with Jennifer in the office to get the trip quoted out. I had good luck with Power Movers on a previous short move, I wanted to hire them again. They were EXCELLENT! My crew was Tyler, Ray, and Lupe. The same crew loaded the truck, drove the entire distance, and unloaded at the destination. The same crew picked up, and delivered on specific dates (no date ranges). That removed so much stress from the process. Some other movers wont give you a date when theyll show up with your stuff until last-minute. Excellent communication, they showed up on time for both pickup and delivery. I could see the trucks location for the entire drive. More expensive compared to other long distance movers, but their professionalism and service was worth paying a bit extra in my opinion. Thanks Power Movers!

Something always breaks on a move, this time it was my TV, but everything about the move was handled wonderfully by this team. First of all they recommended two trucks for our house. I declined thinking we only needed one. Then less than a week before the move realized I was wrong and called. They booked a second truck right then and there. The day of the move one of the trucks broke down. They rented a truck from one of the diy rental companies and still showed up on time. When they got to the house they moved QUICKLY and with care. Most movers drag their feet and tack on extra billable hours. These guys were hustling from the start. They had us loaded up in under their quoted time. They unpacked us just as quickly.Unfortunately during the move our 65” 4k Samsung TV broke. It was literally the most valuable thing they were moving. I braced myself for the 30-60 cents per pound I was going to get back on my $1500 TV( that’s the usual rate)….But that’s not what happened. When we discovered the TV had broken. The team leader called over to their management and sent pictures of the damage himself. He had me on the phone with management while they checked our other devices. A couple other minor things had also taken damage, but here’s the deal... It straight up was not their fault! The truck they rented had a board in it that snapped in transit. The board slapped into the screen and destroyed it. In spite of that, and the fact that they were in no way required to recoup me the cost of the TV, they did it anyway. The owner personally called me and sent me a brand new Samsung 65” literally just the 2019 model instead of my 2018 model. He had it delivered from BestBuy to the house. Not only that, but when the team left, they presented me the bill. They basically stopped the clock at when they found damage. this shaved an extra 90 minutes or so off of my move bill. They did ask about my other minor damages, but truthfully it wasn’t important stuff to me and they had done enough. When it was all said and done they had moved me 40 miles farther, with twice as much stuff as my previous move, but did it in less time and with far more care.This level of both competence, consideration, and courtesy is unheard of and I could not recommend power movers more.

Helped move our 3 bedroom home from Houston to San Antonio in great shape. Very nice guys, very respectful, had the best time with them. I would give them 10 stars if there was an option. Made my husband and I feel so much relief after the work was done.

Comment: Wow incredible job and the easiest move ever!We got a call Saturday morning before our move was schedule with an eta of when the crew would arrive for the move, which was inside the time frame offered. They followed directions well for where to go and was easy to communicate with. So professional and nice!! Chris was the point of contact that took care of all the payments which is done on their iPad for quick easy processing. No hidden fee’s they used so much plastic wrap and literally wrapped every piece of furniture I had so it would be protected. Very time efficient. If we move again I will be hiring them again!! 100% recommend!

Comment: They were super fast and professional! The arrival window was 8am-10am and I got a call at 8:02am letting me know they were 30 minutes away. Two guys showed up and they had all the furniture in our 3rd floor 1300sqft apartment in the truck, moved, and unpacked at the new place in 4 hours. Including a few pieces of furniture that were each well over 300lbs. All items were thoroughly wrapped and protected. Would definitely use them again for any future moves!

I have also had the pleasure of using their services for my 4200 sqft move, while my husband was out of town and my 2 year old had the flu, and the dedication from their company was the only thing that made the move possible. Comment: Make sure you request at least 3 movers. I used their two man crew for a 1 bedroom apartment and it took much longer than expected. I had most everything packed and wrapped prior to them arriving. I even moved a few things myself in the days leading up to the move so they wouldn’t have as much to move and it could speed up the move. However, I will say there were a few strikes against us already. The first was the truck. Their normal truck was in the shop so they were using a rental. Once they arrived they didn’t have the keys to open the cargo hold. They had to go back to budget and get the right keys before starting the move. (Thankfully they didn’t charge for that time, it was just a little inconvenient) Also because it was a different truck one of their dollies didn’t fit well on the ramp so it took even more time since they were limited to one other dolly. Second strike was the crew. Once the move got started I could tell one of the guys was very green and needed a lot of instruction. Because of this I jumped in and acted like the 3rd person on the team because I didn’t want to prolong the move. Unfortunately my help didn’t make much of a difference. Overall they took care of my things but the move took much longer than expected. They did offer 10 free heavy duty moving totes to borrow for the move. This was a HUGE help and allowed me to not have to purchase as many boxes. I just wish I would have requested a 3 person team. It’s likely I will try them again in the future as long as they have their normal truck available.

Comment: We searched online and read tons of reviews before ultimately deciding on Power Movers. It was a great decision for a stress-free move! Definitely take advantage of the free boxes (actually 10 large, heavy-duty storage tubs they drop off and pick up for free!)....they were great, and we probably should have rented more. The crew showed up first thing in the morning and right on schedule, wasting no time in loading our things in the truck. All three of the guys were extremely friendly and careful with our belongings, and they even finished in less than our estimated/quoted time. We could not have been happier with our choice to use Power Movers, and we will be recommending them to everyone in the future!
